Beneficiary

A Beneficiary is someone who inherits under the terms of your will.

They can be the beneficiary of a specific gift or legacy, or they might be a residuary beneficiary.

Your will should provide enough information on the beneficiary for them to be traced and contacted when the time comes.  If you don’t know the current postal address of a beneficiary you should provide as much information as you can so that the executors can locate and contact them.  For example – their relationship to you or other contact information (telephone number or email).
